Rocky Mountain Element 930 RSL
Just landed the new Rocky Mountain Element 29er, completely redesigned for 2017.
The new Element is a full-on XC marathon weapon but with the confidence of a trail bike. XC racing has evolved, bikes are now more capable and efficient than ever.
New key features of the Element are slacker angles up front for greater stability and confidence, a steepened seat tube for better climbing, and a slightly longer reach.
The Element features a 120mm fork up front to provide a little more cushioning for those long marathon miles. At the rear, 100mm via a four-bar 'Smoothlink' suspension system. The 'Smoothlink' suspension keeps more travel available and gives more efficient suspension.
The Element features Rocky's Ride-9 adjustment system, allowing the user to adjust the geometry of the bike to suit different terrain, different events and different riders. You can adjust the head angle between 60 to 70 degrees, and the suspension rate can be tuned between XC or trail feel.
The carbon frame weighs in at 2250g, there's enough for two bottle cages, and some well thought out cable routing.
The 930 RSL comes equipped with RockShox Monarch RL shock and RockShox Reba RL forks, full Shimano SLX drivetrain and brakes. WTB SX19 rims and Maxxis Ikon 29 x 2.2 folding tyres.
More models of the Element lineup are arriving in January. Come in and view all our Mountain Bike in Christchurch at our Papanui Road Store.
